Goals and Requirements
- The ultimate goal is to beat the winner of the original cup in terms of predicted net profit for the promotion. A complete data analysis including data preprocessing, model evaluation and -selection and final prediction has to be performed.
- Furthermore, the thesis should support future work on the data set by providing a solid basis especially on the preprocessing of the data.
- The supervisor of this thesis requested that the solution be demonstrated using Python as programming environment.
